The Baines' Camp has a spacious main lodge area offering wide views of the Zambezi River towards the World Heritage Site of Mana Pools in neighboring Zimbabwe. With a courtyard and a fish pond at the heart of the lodge, its open plan design includes two lounges, indoor and outdoor dining areas and the Selous Bar which opens to the swimming pool.

The boma-style fire place is lit every evening and during the cooler winter evenings the fireplaces in the bar and in the dining area offer extra comfort. Standard rates cover:
Daily laundry, 200MB wireless internet access per stay, SES Medical Evacuation Insurance, all government taxes, levies and statutory service charges as applicable. Standard Rates do not cover Community and conservation contributions (see below), private guiding, beauty or wellness treatments, beverages, purchases of a personal nature, use of camp angling equipment, Cultural village entry (USD 10 pp), Royal Aerodrome passenger access fees (USD 17.50 pp per arrival and per departure), meet & greet services (rate on request), early check-in and/or late check-out (USD 150 pp per event. Charges cover general camp facilities, activities and catering. Charges do not guarantee the use of guest accommodation).

ACCOMMODATION
Feel at home and make yourself comfortable on your veranda with a pair of binoculars to scan the river banks, pick up a book or simply put your head back for a well-deserved afternoon siesta. Six spacious Explorer Suites are made up with King-size beds which can be converted to twin configuration. Two of the Explorer Suites offer an additional outdoor shower.
The two smaller Junior Suites are made up with twin beds and are popular with single travellers.

The private Baines’ Cottage offers two bedrooms, one king and one twin, each with its own bathrooms, a generous open plan dining, lounge and kitchen area which is complemented by a deep veranda with an outdoor dining area and private lawn overlooking the river. The cottage is ideally suited to a young family or friends traveling together and can be booked with the option of a private guide and chef.

WIFI
Cellular reception is intermittent and only available in certain areas of the camp. All guests enjoy limited complimentary internet access per day during their stay in the main lodge areas. Thereafter, usage will be charged to your room.

SPA
Guests can enjoy a professional massage or beauty treatment from the comfort of their suite or private veranda. The wellness menu offers treatments to pamper your body and relax your mind, including specialised massages, Gatineau facials, manicures and pedicures.
